About the Role<\/b><\/p>\n Based in Darwin & Reporting into the SA\/NT General Manager<\/p>\n<\/li>\n Surveying customer premises and recommending fire protection and safety systems and equipment<\/p>\n<\/li>\n Undertaking Fire system Rectifications and upgrades as required including large project installs<\/p>\n<\/li>\n Performing fire System inspections & testing as per AS1851 in line with local government requirements<\/p>\n<\/li>\n Completing emergency lighting repairs.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n Liaising directly with clients.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n Utilizing our electronic job management system.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n Travelling and working at various sites across Northern Territory<\/p>\n<\/li>\n Scheduling & Assisting other service installers, trainees, and technicians.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n Working both autonomously and as part of a team.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n About You<\/b><\/p>\n Experience working as an Electrical Technician, ideally in the Fire industry<\/p>\n<\/li>\n Current Electrical License is preferred.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n Previous experience in the Fire Protection Industry is advantageous.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n Current driver\u2019s license<\/p>\n<\/li>\n Able to undergo a pre-employment medical and police check.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n A sound knowledge of the applicable Australian Standards relevant to Fixed Systems fire protection equipment is preferred.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n A Fire Protection Accreditation Scheme accreditation and Cabling Licence are desired<\/p>\n<\/li>\n Great attitude and willingness to deliver for our customer and client base.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n Ability to work an on-call roster<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n","protected":false},"featured_media":7228,"template":"","meta":{"_acf_changed":false,"inline_featured_image":false},"country":[11],"class_list":["post-7341","job_posting","type-job_posting","status-publish","has-post-thumbnail","hentry","country-australia"],"acf":[],"yoast_head":"\n\n
